Omar Elementary School

Katie Murray began the meeting by welcoming everyone. She introduced all team members and their roles. Ms. Murray then presented the current OES Strategic Plan and explained what the plan was and what it was used for in the school. All team members were given the opportunity to review and comment on the strategic plan. No comments were given. Ms. Murray then went on to discuss goals for the school year. She spoke about wanting more community involvement and parent engagement events. She asked the team for input. Team members shared that they enjoyed the games with grandparents event and the golfing event hosted by our gym teacher. Team members shared they would like more information about the school events shared on social media as a way of communication. No more comments were given. Ms. Murray asked for any final input from team members. All members refrained from commenting. Meeting was ended by Ms. Murray after she thanked everyone for coming once again.
